Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh prepares and delivers hot, nourishing, noontime meals for individuals who are confined to their homes and unable to cook adequately for themselves due to age, illness, injury or disability. Recipients can also request frozen meals for evenings, weekends and holidays.
All meals are freshly-prepared in our commercial kitchen and delivered at noontime by dedicated, caring volunteers who also help to brighten the day with a friendly visit.
Founded in 1972 by Frederica Warner, Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh is a registered 501(c)(3) charity and member of Meals on Wheels America, the oldest and largest organization in the United States representing members who provide meals services to those in need.
